The strategic perspective in which the HR has a primary role of deliver competencies needed for business was used to establish the objectives. Therefore, the students should be able to:

  1. Relate the HR Function with the organization business and, as well, with the social, political and economic environment within the organization operates;
  2. Critically examine the main models of HRM;
  3. Define the HRM core practices, including relationship facilitation, the leadership process, performance management and change management;
  4. Critically analyze HRM case studies;
  5. Relate practical situations with theoretical framework.
