This curricular unit aims to provide a basic understanding about de activities of managing processes that are responsible for manufacturing products and providing services. It also seeks to sensitize students to the importance of the operations function within business management. Finally, it aims to develop conceptual and analytical skills in the students so that they can play an active role in managing production and service provision activities in organizations.
