Professor Célia Ribeiro was appointed by the Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa as the Ethics Ombudsperson of the Viseu Regional Centre of UCP until 2022.

Célia Ribeiro was also appointed to the "Ethics Committee: Technology, Social Sciences and Humanities" of UCP, to respond to the requests presented by the Research Centres and PhD Programmes.
