Professor at IGOS of Introduction to Management, Information Systems and Ethics and Social Responsibility of Organizations and at FMD of Information and Communication Systems and Biostatistics. In recent years, he has supported research carried out at the level of Master's students, which he advises, which has resulted in some publications.

He is responsible for the Information Services Department at UCP-Viseu. He has participated in different UCP strategic definition and implementation committees.
He is chairman of the Board of Directors of Coopmiseu, CRL (Consumer Cooperative).
